Duties include academic services in the project “Science and Philosophy of Nature in the Byzantine World and in the Renaissance: the Epitome physica of Nikephoros Blemmydes”. Research associates mayalso pursue independent research and further academic qualifications. Candidates are expected to possess a university degree in a relevant field and working knowledge of Greek palaeography and codicology. Experience in textual scholarship and basic knowledge of Aristotelianism are a plus, as is a good knowledge of Latin. n line with requirementsof this particular third-party funding, only applicants who have not yet completed a PhD at the time of their application can be considered for this position.
